Community Investment Programme

Fairfield acknowledges that by sharing its resources it can make a positive difference to the wider community. The community investment effort may take the form of fundraising initiatives for charity, the donation of cash or gifts in kind to organisations with charitable status, targeted corporate sponsorship, or sharing the time and skills of the workforce to benefit good causes both locally and nationally.

By supporting charities and good causes represented within its areas of operation, Fairfield shares its resources to: facilitate the building of partnerships with mutual benefit to the Company and the community; develop employee skills and boost morale through involvement in sponsorship initiatives; and provide opportunities to engage with key stakeholders.

In consideration of community investment initiatives Fairfield gives priority to organisations supporting the following three main core areas:-

Health and social wellbeing in the local community;
Education and training to support industry; and
Sporting activities that focus upon young people in the local community.

The above may include charitable organisations representing medical research and support services, social and community improvement programmes, educational sponsorship, learning and development initiatives, and sporting activities to encourage young people to become more active and to gain vital skills. This list is not exhaustive and consideration will be given to initiatives that are linked to the above core areas or have particular relevance in the oil & gas industry.
