Health & Safety
The Health & Safety Policy Statement, which is signed by the Chief Executive and endorsed by the Main Board of directors, sets out our intent for health and safety, and the means by which this will be achieved.
The Policy Statement is part of the Fairfield strategic vision for H,S&E and is intended to provide an outline of our principal objectives, together with a brief summary of the main health and safety activities.
Key activities specified in the Health & Safety Policy Statement include :
- A Board H,S&E Sub-Committee of non-executive directors is appointed to provide governance and assurance of H,S&E policy and performance.
- Roles and responsibilities for H,S&E activities are appropriately assigned within the organisation, and specialist H,S&E support is made available.
- H,S&E performance is monitored and periodic investigation of H,S&E activities is undertaken.
- Findings from investigation, review and audit in order to enable continual improvement in H,S&E performance
