Production Delivery
The Production Delivery function covers all aspects of Fairfield’s production delivery strategies, engineering projects, well services and associated activities in the Dunlin area assets. The team focuses on production delivery through asset reliability and improvement by working with the Duty Holder to maximise production in the safest and most efficient way.
One of the biggest challenges faced by the Production Delivery team is making sure that platform POB levels are sufficient to allow routine and corrective maintenance and ongoing asset integrity work to be completed. These key activities ensure the asset facilities are fit for purpose and enable it to achieve its optimum production.
The team also determines and owns all required topside engineering projects for the asset. This involves identifying modifications and production enhancement additions, looking after the management of all engineering contracts, subcontracts and suppliers, and challenging the engineering contractor to deliver projects efficiently.
Another key focus is ensuring that the delivery of all upgrades to the Dunlin Area facilities and capital projects are on schedule and within budget. Engineering support is also given to New Business activities undertaken by Fairfield and, in particular, the provision of advice on engineering, technology and cost estimates.
The Production Delivery Team also provides engineering expertise in managing the integrity of the wells to ensure optimum uptime. Routine monitoring is carried out on the wells to ensure that Fairfield complies with all codes and regulations. In addition, the team ensures that that there are sufficient POB for the well services crew to conduct their daily business, as well as delivering well maintenance programmes in a safe and efficient manner. Credible risk is also identified by the production delivery team who must formulate risk mitigation and management strategies, such as the engagement of specialist contractors.
