Well Services
What the team says...
The well services team is responsible for ensuring well integrity across all of Fairfield’s assets by producing technical and operational solutions to reduce the risk of any potential release of fluids throughout the well life cycle. The team performs integrity tests on an annual basis to ensure that Fairfield’s wells are safe to operate.
In addition, the well services team is responsible for Fairfield’s post-drilling well interventions for the Dunlin Field and subsea operations. These interventions include work carried out during a well life cycle that might alter the state of the well or its infrastructure. In addition they also provide fault diagnostics and assist with the management of well production. Well intervention operations may range from wireline, perforation and coiled tubing to pumping operations and well flowbacks. These operations are managed and supervised by Fairfield and the operational activity is outsourced to third party organisations contracted throughout the well portfolio.
Fairfield’s well services team works diligently alongside its third party suppliers to ensure all work meets the Company’s set procedures and standards. This is achieved by following the correct planning processes and through the establishment of close relationships with each specified vendor for the respective contract awards.
